Trips will soon be posted on the web site. We are hoping to start posting trips in the next couple of weeks. The weather and many funding/planning issues have slowed down the process slightly. Most of the trips listed in this e-mail have been funded and approved but things always change; snowpack, funding, scheduling and staffing sometimes change the best made plans. All of the galleries from 2015 are complete and up on the web site so you can check out last year’s trips. You should take a look, there are a lot of great pictures.

What we accomplished in 2015. 6 back Packing Trips, 7 base camp trips, 13 day events and 1 ERT event. The Trailcrew put in 11,102 volunteer hours. We thank all of those that volunteered, you accomplished great things and from all reports had a great time doing it.
Plans for 2016. 12 base camps, 8 back packing trips, 6 day trips and 5 private organization trips including Boy Scouts and Wilderness Outreach. We will be working in the following forests and public lands. National Forests: Los Padres, Sierra, Sequoia, Mendocino and Eldorado. Other land managers include: Redwoods State Park, Lost Coast Trail, Millerton Lake, Hensley Lake, Eastman Lake and BLM San Joaquin River Gorge.
Highlighted Trips in 2016. Golden Trout Wilderness back packing, some of the most beautiful views in the Southern Sierra. Ansel Adams back packing with great lakes, dramatic cliffs and peaks. Long Meadow back packing, huge vistas and giant sequoias. Camp Nelson base camp, walking through giant sequoias while working with a local biking community, sure to be a great outing. Edison base camp, top of the world incredible place. Lost Coast Trail in the Redwoods State Park, world famous trail with incredible ocean views. Mendocino base camp in stunning northern California Mountains.
