If you find that you’re interested in becoming a crew leader or cook with the High Sierra volunteer Trail Crew plan to attend this training workshop April 4th –April 6th. The training for Crew leaders will include trail building basics, medical, group leadership and basic saw training. Cooks will receive training related to safe food practices, leave-no-trace and knowledge of menus that are going to be used in 2014. Volunteers can arrive Thursday afternoon and stay thru Monday morning. Dinner will be provided Thursday night thru Monday morning. Work Location: Willow Lodge – 2020 East Birkhead, Fresno, Ca 93730.
